Make the ordinary come to life!

We always want to make our life astounding,

And that's a common thought of every mind,

But let's just take a moment to realize where do we want to reach,

We think we are moving forward but still we remain behind..

Chasing an extra-ordinary life seems quite amazing,

But in a way it's an act of being foolish,

Because till the time we don't value what we have,

Desiring for more would be devilish..

Bringing a smile on someone's face,

Helping your friends in times of need,

A feel of crying on someone's death,

Are a few good and wise deeds..

Helping your siblings during their exams,

Respecting the decisions and advice of your parents,

These things might seem small right now,

But we must incorporate them in us while we are still adolescents..

So let's learn to find happiness in small things,

Turning positivity on and negativity off,

And if we are able to make ordinary things come alive,

Extra-ordinary ones will be taken care of.

Sometimes you meet some people in your life,

Who give you a new reason to live,

I am glad that I met you,

A wonderful meaning to my life you give..

You are my angel, my well wisher,

And you have always been there with me,

You have brought me from darkness back in the light,

And in your eyes my paradise I can see..

The first time I saw you,

I knew my heart would surrender,

And as I got to know you better and better,

I fell for you because you were so tender..

And today, you have become an inseparable part of me,

The person whom I can't live without,

I am me because of you,

And I can shout this loud without any doubt..

You are just like a dream come true,

You are an epitome of love and care,

You are like a beautiful wine sparkling fountain,

And with you my life I want to share..

So here I would like to raise a toast,

A toast to our relation and the love we abide,

May we grow old together and live every moment happily,

Those Shooting Stars..

As the tired sun sets at the end of the day,

The moon comes over to take its place,

But it isn't alone in this lovely night sky,

The twinkling stars also occupy their respective space..

Come lie down with me on this wet grass,

Listen to what the moon and stars have to say,

Enjoy the delightful sight of the dancing sky,

Before this view gets stolen by the sun's rays..

As my eyes jump from one star to another,

I catch some of the loveliest sights,

The sight of puzzled constellations,

Formed so beautifully at such a height..

Suddenly I notice something jumping from the sky,

And that view was something more than great,

Streaks of bright light across the dark sky,

That was something my heart would happily take..

They were the shooting stars as we call them,

Decorating the enchanting night,

Complimenting it was the wet grass beneath me,

And the atmosphere so cool and quiet..

Shooting stars aren't the stars in real,

But the burnt meteorites thrown from the outer space,

It doesn't matter if they are stars or meteorites,

As long as they bring a smile on my face..

So here I am on this wet grass,

Watching those shooting stars passing over my head,

But as the first rays of morning break the magic of night,

I find myself waking on my bed!

You came in my life as an unknown face,
Not knowing that our friendship,one day I would embrace,
But now whenever I think about the talks with you,
It brings me big smiles and laughter too..

Thank you for being so gentle and kind,
People like you are really hard to find,
Thank you for trusting me right from the start,
You truly possess a wonderful heart..

Our friendship means a lot to me,
I only hope that this I can make you see,
And I promise that in times of need,
I'll be the best friend I can possibly be..

I'll always be there to support you,
I'll help you fight your fears too,

Because I asked heaven..

With every day passing by,

My love for you rises high,

Just like an angel sent from paradise,

You changed my life with a blink of your eyes..

I see us walking in a garden full of roses,

Lost in your dreams my long night dozes,

Maybe we were destined to meet someway and somehow,

That's the reason we are so close right now..

I see us sharing our happiness and pain,

The moments we share run in my every vein,

I just want time to stay still forever,

So that even time can part us never..

I thank God everyday for sending me you,

Meet me in the stars..

Every night as I go off to my bed,

Thoughts of you keep running through my head,

When the whispers of soft breeze of air reaches my ears,

My heart feels that you are here..

But you actually are many miles away,

And I hope to see you every another day,

So when the night together, can't be ours,

Just close your eyes and meet me in the stars..

There I will be, waiting for you,

With a bottle of wine, and glasses for two,

So just close your eyes, and come up there,

Forgetting all the sorrows and despair..

I wait among the stars, lost in your thoughts,

A beautiful night I have planned for you in this very plot,

I see a blurry image behind that cloud,

And in front of this image even the stars have bowed..

As the cloud moves away, the image gets clear,

And there you are, right in front of me, so near,

I drag you closer and the music begins to play,

You look so beautiful, I have no words to say..

As the music advances, we begin to dance,

I had waited so long for this precious chance,

This gentle music is filled with so much romance,

The whole place lighted by stars, no boundaries, no fence..

So just close your eyes and there you'll see,

A special place in the stars just for you and me,

Just meet me in the stars, from all the worldly griefs you'll be free,

Waiting in the stars for you, I promise I will be!!

Crossroads..

There is this girl so simple and sweet,

She loves to be in her own world of imagination,

I love the way she talks and laughs,

And in times of need she has been my motivation..

Every single day of mine is incomplete without her,

Her looks, her eyes, her voice, her touch,

Whenever she is not around,

All these things I miss so much..

But this has become yesterday,

And it is just a memory,

The clouds have started to gather now,

And the leaves are falling from the tree..

A tear comes to my eye when I think of her,

A cute smile was always displayed on her face,

I remember the times when our friendship was new,

And I felt she was the only one I wanted to amaze..

But now the things are not the way they used to be,

And I guess there's no one who deserves the blame,

She has decided to take another path,

While I am still walking on the same..

And now I have this feeling of feeling nothing at all,

I am walled off emotions, unconscious with dreams of bliss,

Frantically grasping for a hold,

And being dragged further into an abyss..

I just want her to take the burden off her shoulders,

For the paths we are talking about are very far apart,

It seems like she has already decided to travel the new road,

So I think even I need to depart..

I don't know how the things between us got ruined,

I don't know who created this division in our road,

But this is how exactly it is,

And now it feels like rains of sorrows are heavily being poured..

So here I am saying the final goodbye,

As much as I know, we can't stay,

Spending one last minute lost in her eyes,

Hoping that our roads will cross again some another day..

A Little Too Late..

Here I'm, standing in front of this wall,

With millions of thoughts running through my mind,

No whispers, no murmurs, silence is scattered everywhere,

Seems like all the memories are getting rewind..

She is there on the other side of this wall,

So quiet, just like a silent lake,

There are so many things that she wants to say,

But she is hiding all her sorrows behind the smile that she fakes..

If only she tells me , I'll break the wall and get through it,

And then hold her tight in my arms,

But she is standing there just like a dead pole,

And now I'm longing for her and her charms..

I don't know what is she afraid of,

What is stopping her from talking to me?

Maybe she has her own reasons,

But I don't think this is how it's meant to be..

By this time I lose my patience,

So I try to break the wall and get on the other side,

And finally when I succeed in doing that,

The scene that I see is just like a dark night..

She was lying there on the ground, pale white,

Just like a fallen dead leaf,

I run to her and take her in my arms,

And I try to wake her up with my heart filled with grief..

I call her name a million times,

In a hope that she may listen to me,

But all I hear is this frightful silence,

And I just feel like a person stuck in the middle of the sea..

She was DEAD, she had gone forever,

I broke out into tears,

The world seemed to have fallen down for me,

And to listen to her voice, hungry were my ears..

I noticed she had gripped something in her fist,

It was a note for me,I unfolded it with sorrow,

My heart was shaking when I was unfolding it,

And the note read as follows: 

"I'm taking the last few breaths of my life,

And soon I'll leave this mortal world forever,

But promise me you'll be happy by cherishing the moments we shared,

And for me you'll cry never..

I love you a lot and I'll always do,

And I'll never go apart,

And no matter even if I'm not in this world,

I'll always stay close to you in your heart.."

She wants me to be happy,and if that's her last wish,

I'll try my best to do it for her,

And even if she'll stay quiet for the rest of my life,

Her voice will always be safe in my heart as delightful murmurs..

Maybe I took a lot of time to break that wall,

Maybe I could have met her for the one last time,

But now she is present only in my memories,

And she'll be alive within me for my entire lifetime..

Even when the oceans run out of their waters,

I'll still be there with you,

Even when the mighty sun loses its fire,

I'll still be there with you...

Even when the stars disappear from the sky,

I'll still be there with you,

Even when the moon no longer lightens the night,

I'll still be there with you...

Even when this world comes down,

I'll still be there with you,

Even after we cross the line of eternity,

I'll still be there with you...

Even after our souls leave our bodies,

I'll still be there with you,

Even after we complete thus journey of life,

I'll still be there with you...

Even when the birds no longer chirp,

I'll still be there with you,

Even when the rains cease to fall,

I'll still be there with you...

Even when no one is beside you when your soul embarks,

I'll still be there with you when u get into the dark,

Even when the heart-beats leave the heart,

I'll still be there with you and never go apart...

Whenever you need me and even if there are thousand miles between us,

Just walk the first one and I'll walk the rest 999 miles just to be with you,

But promise me that you'll never go away,

Because without you even the heaven will be of no use...

The Dark Loneliness

The surroundings have become quieter,

And my heart whispers it wants some rest,

Even my shadow has left me alone,

And I am in my brain's arrest..

Sitting in the darkness I try to figure out what is more darker,

The darkness outside or inside me?

The only answer which reaches my ears,

Is that from this darkness I cannot get free..

Even the stars aren't showing their shine tonight,

And the moon is hidden behind that dark cloud,

There's only emptiness around me,

So it doesn't matter how loud I shout..

The street where once there was a merry crowd of people,

Now it only comprises of memories,

People,relations,time and life,

Everything has changed in quick successive series..

In which direction should I go I have no clue,

Because it's dark everywhere and I cant see any road to walk on,

The night is getting even darker,

So I decide to just sit here and wait for the morn..

Seems like even the sun has lost its way,

Because it's been such a long night and still there isn't any ray of light,

So I just close my eyes and try to calm myself,

Waiting for the end of this dreadful night..

I know that soon this darkness will be killed by a new sunrise,

And life will clear out this emptiness,

But for now the only thing in my sight,

Is this darkness filled with loneliness..

When the sun quits to rise,

And stars refuse to glow,

When the moon stops appearing,

And the winds refuse to blow..

When sorrows doesn't exist,

And a poem is without words,

When a heart never cries,

And screams cannot be heard..

When the sky and land merges,

And time stops forever,

When the flowers refuse to to blossom,

And misunderstandings occur never..

When birds cannot fly,

And plants cannot grow,

When a fish cannot swim,

And water cannot flow..

When a day is of 30 hours,

And a year has thirteen months,

When a genius cannot answer,

And a hunter cannot hunt..

When fights cannot be fought,

And songs cannot be sung,

When tears never fall,

And hearts cannot be won..

When all these things take place,

When all of it finally comes true,

That day, without a doubt,

Amidst the clouds of memory,

And beneath the mighty bright sun,

I want to speak my heart out,

But there's no one to listen..

All my failure and triumphs,

And all the things that I have lost and earned,

All these moments I want to share,

And the feelings that hurt and burn,

All these feelings I want to share,

The ocean of thoughts roaring in my brain,

And the storm of emotions, both of struggles and fun,

This state of mind I want to convey,

But there's no one to listen..

The journey of my life so far,

All the difficulties I faced and things I learnt,

Each and every instance of life I want to narrate,

But there's no one to listen..

The words spoken by my silence,

And the valley of silence in which I run,

All these things I want to talk about,

But there's no one to listen..

So now I whisper these things to the swift breeze of air,

But the words it reciprocates is none,

But this breeze is the only one with whom I can talk,

Surfing on the wave of life..

The road to success is not a straight path,

And we need to move with patience and not wrath..

At every mile of this road life shows us a different scene,

We meet failures at times but sometimes we also win..

These triumphs and failures are just like a wave in the sea,

Sometimes we are on the top of this wave and sometimes we are down on our knees..

But let neither happiness nor sorrows in any way affect you,

Because neither of them will ever come in queue..

Live the life the way you want to,

As God has bestowed this life as a gift upon you..

In your way towards success don't forget to fill the life with enjoyment,

As it is equally important to keep cool our temperament..

At times you'll find things are not falling in their place,

And problems and puzzles are almost being thrown at your face..

But that doesn't mean you are not capable of handling it,

Here,God is just testing your patience and wit..

No matter what the situation is and no matter if u r in crowd or alone,

Just carry your Will power with you and keep moving on..

Dare to take the risk of going far away,

And you'll notice opportunities lying in your way..

Never loose hope and believe nothing is impossible,

Because once you choose hope anything is possible..

So this is the wave of life which makes you surf more and more,

And people who learn to surf on it are sure to reach their shore..

And That's Friendship

A river flows through a million of barriers,

Only to meet its ocean,

This shows the strong bonding it has with its ocean,

And its heart-rendering love filled emotions..

When the sun sets in the evening,

It gives the way for the moon to shine,

This shows the care sun has for the moon,

And it purely defines the friendship's line..

No matter what the condition be,

The moon never leaves its stars,

What a clear image of friendship they display,

And it cannot be restricted to any bars..

This earth provides a residence for trillions of creatures,

But never asks for anything in return,

That's what friendship is all about,

And you'll get your rewards when its your turn..

A butterfly's search for nectar,

Is completed by a bright beautiful flower,

The butterfly in its turn helps the flower in pollination,

And thus their understanding becomes the need of the hour..

If nature,without speaking, can express friendship in such an amazing manner,

So for sure friendship has some invaluable worth,

And as Abraham Lincoln rightly said,

"If friendship is your weakest point then you are the strongest person in the world."

Every Problem Is An Opputunity

Every problem is an opportunity if you know how to grab it,

Every question comes with an answer if you know how to trap it,

It's just the difference of perspective which turns a problem into solution,

And it is this perspective which creates an all new vision..

The hurdles of life you face,

And when you get lost in the problem's maze,

That's where you have to know that you carry the potential to deal with it,

And when you realise that, the candles of hope are lit..

If you feel that some problem  is suppressing you,

And you think that the ways of getting out of it are very few,

Try to face it with a different view,

And you'll realise that its solution is hidden inside of you..

Every problem you solve gives you the courage to solve another one,

Then you start dominating over your problems and see how the tables turn,

We need to see that another door of solution opens when one closes,

And we need to be strong because life isn't a bed of roses..

So if any problem challenges your power or dignity,

Remember that this problem is an opportunity,

An opportunity to show that you are capable of tackling it,

And to prove that if the problem is hard, you are harder enough to hit it..

Always keep your head high,

And then see how the problems die,

So promise yourself that you will become bolder,

Because God gives his toughest battles to His strongest soldiers..

Just like a fairy tale..

Under the dim light of the lonely moon,

I fell asleep on the bed of stars,

And then I entered a world resembling fairyland,

A place completely different from Earth, Venus, Jupiter or Mars..

There, I met a girl having fairy like appearances,

Maybe she was the fairy herself,

As this place was completely unknown to me,

She agreed to offer me her help..

Although she was a stranger to me,

I felt her to be someone known,

Maybe because her beauty had captured me,

Maybe because of the qualities she owned..

She took me on the journey of her fairyland,

On a marvelous gigantic unicorn,

The tall grasses of the field were kissing our feet,

And the wind was greeting the crown that she had worn..

She showed me some of the breathtaking places,

Lake of wine,magical valleys,sky touching mountains and pearl filled ocean,

Which almost appeared to be something fictious,

And sighing them was such a fun..

Finally we came to the place from where we had started,

And she told me that she had to go,

Although my waving hand was giving her farewell,

My heart was shouting "Please don't go!"

Something in my soul forced me to call her back,

She listened, turned and I ran to her,

Maybe my heart had started beating for her,

And that I wanted to express to her..

When those magical words had reached my lips,

And they were just about to leap,

There rang my morning alarm,

And I was out of my sleep..

That night when I was asleep,

I had an amazing sleep and dream fusion,

But as I woke up the next morning,

I realized everything of it was just an illusion..

A Long Wait..

The span of this life seems to be like the length of a thread,

And it feels to get over in a blink of an eye,

But waiting for you seems just the opposite,

And my time doesn't tick no matter how hard I try..

But this wait has its own sweetness,

And that I cannot deny,

Because for me time ain't any factor,

And I'm never gonna say goodbye..

Even though if it takes all my life,

This wait will stay intact,

And I'll always be here with the same love in my heart,

Whether you agree or disagree to this fact..

I have a strange belief growing in my heart,

That this wait won't go in waste,

And this hope encourages me to hold on tighter,

And also this sweet wait has its own unique taste..

Even after I take an exit from this world,

And atoms of my body get scattered in the earth,

Each of these atoms will wait for you to return,

Till the time they come together and take a new birth..

So here I am, praying for you to come back,

No matter early or late,

But one thing is for sure,

That I am never gonna give up this endless wait..

Sometimes..

Sometimes, in life, we come across a point,

Where our past and our future takes a back seat,

And what we see is only our present,

With all the sorrows and happiness crawling under our feet..

Sometimes, we regret the things we think could have been much better,

But we realize that it's too late to regret,

So we start adjusting with the situation,

And those regretting things we try to forget..

Sometimes, we find ourselves in the atmosphere of sadness,

Where our only partner is loneliness,

We talk to this mate, sharing the pain with ourselves,

And we try to fill the jar of life where the only thing present is emptiness..

Sometimes, we tend to lose ourselves while enduring our pain,

And try to find a way back to our heart,

But this path of enduring pain is just like a maze,

Where we get confused about the end and the start..

Sometimes, we decide to look at life from a different perspective,

And try to find happiness in the smallest of things,

We learn to accept every challenge of life with a positive mind-set,

And this enables us to fly with our soaring wings..

Sometimes, we think of all these situations,

Concluding that life throws at us both, good and bad times,

But neither of them will stay forever,

Because there's always gonna be "Sometimes.."

The Stranger Me..

As I wake everyday with the breaking of my alarm,

And stand in front of the mirror,

I see a stranger's face in it,

And rolling down his cheek is a round big tear,

I move closer to have a clearer vision,

And try to figure out his identity,

And soon I realise that the stranger in the mirror,

Was no one else but me..

I was still in a perplexed state of mind,

Could that person surely be me?

Because I was never this way the mirror showed,

And this wasn't the image that I used to see..

I had lost myself somewhere in the mysterious hours,

And my identity was hidden behind that stranger's face,

I am confuse how to bring back myself,

And I don't know this condition will enslave me for how many more days..

I figure out that I have puzzled myself with all sort of questions and doubts,

And now I have to resolve this mystery,

Because I find no other way to break the shackles of this stranger's face,

And now I just feel like a bird which cannot fly free..

But I still have a ray of hope left inside me,

And I think that's enough to get me back,

I believe that once again I'll be the real me,

And I'll stand firm on the sailing ship's deck..

So now is the time to face that stranger,

And I am unaware whether it will be my loss or gain,

But I believe I am strong enough to defeat that stranger,

And I'll meet myself once again..

This World Is Not Enough..

So many things in this world,

Can be dedicated to you,

But how to describe you in words,

I have no clue..

To compare you with sky,

Just don't seem to be right,

Because the sky is just a base for you,

And you are much above its height..

To compare you with stars,

Does not feel to be fine,

Because the glow those stars possess,

Is just a small part of your shine..

Lets try and compare you with the ocean,

But wait, even that's not good enough,

Because to compare your vast abilities with just an ocean,

I find it to be a little tough..

People say you are a piece of moon,

Well, that isn't something new for you,

But for me the case is somewhat different,

Because I feel the beautiful moon is just a part of you..

Even the roses in the garden are jealous of you,

Because you are more beautiful than them,

And even the rarest diamond is afraid of you,

Because it feels that you'll prove to be a better gem..

So as you see,

To compare you with all these things is becoming so tough,

And if there's truly something which can be dedicated to you,

This World Is Not Enough.. :)

Pehchaan India

The land of cultures and religions,

Where more than thousand languages are spoken,

The country which is the biggest democracy,

And where the shackles of tourism are broken..

From north to south and east to west,

Unbounded places to explore,

And places so fascinating and breath-taking,

That you cannot ask for anything more..

Kashmir, which is truly the Paradise on Earth,

Crowns our beautiful mother-land,

A country blessed with everything,

Wildlife, mountains, rivers and sand..

Country bordered by The Great Himalayas,

Where the Mt. Everest stands firm and high,

Country possessing a huge network of rivers,

Which forms a beautiful tangle-ties..

Where the whispers of mountains in the north,

Are heard by the Bay of Bengal in the east,

Where the roars of magnificent deserts,

Are intercepted by the valleys enveloped in fog and mist..

Where legends like Aryabhatta are born,

Where leaders like Mahatma Gandhi prevailed,

Where people of all castes live together,

And united they share their happiness and pain..

It is rather interesting to know,

That India is the only country having an ocean on its name,

And proudly I say my country is the one,

Which has in this world its name and  fame..
