When the night is long and cold,
And shivers reach right to your bone,
Remember the day isn't far away,
The day which will be our very own...
I know the things are scary right now,
But we will make it through,
Just like a rainbow forming after the rain,
Just like the fresh morning dew...
It's not always rainbows and butterflies,
Thorns are a part of the way too,
But it doesn't matter how hurting they might be,
As long as I have you...
There's a ray of light at the end of every tunnel,
A ray signifying hope and relief,
There's nothing in this world we can't get through,
If only we have our trust and belief...
Put your hand in mine,
And stars will start shinning too,
Everything will be back to colours,
Even the things which seem very blue...
Hold on for a little bit more,
Things will inevitably get better,
I know it's quite dark right now,
But the sun will surely shine later...
Sometimes it's swimming through the ocean of fire,
And sometimes it's just a walk in the park,
Just have some faith in the plan of God,
We'll fight our way through this dark!!
