BUTTERFLIES..

Nights are seeming longer than usual,

Days are going by without a count,

You have made my life a season of Spring,

In you something really precious I've found...

I look at you like a child looks at a merry-go-round,

With joy filled eyes and heart full of care,

You give me the feeling of butterflies in my tummy,

Making me forget all my misery and despair...

You are like a ray of hope from the sun,

Like the dawn after a dark night,

I'd never miss a chance of being with you,

Because that's the time when everything feels alright...

Why do people smile just by looking at someone?

The answer to this question I never knew...

But now I understand what they might be feeling like,

Because even in a room full of people my eyes wander to find you...

You are the best part of my day,

Without you the day seems partial and null,

You make me feel so calm and peaceful,

Like returning home after a long battle...

I'll stand up against anyone if it's for you,

Cross a fire filled ocean or climb a mountain of pain,

Not once, not twice, not ten times more,

For you I'll do it over and over again!!
